Privacy Policy

DealFeed ("the Service") values your privacy and complies with applicable privacy laws.

The Service requires no account or sign-up and does not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email, or phone number. The items below are anonymous, device-level data that cannot identify a specific individual on their own.

3. How We Use It

• Providing and personalizing the deal feed
• Sending price-drop and hot-deal push notifications
• Improving quality, fixing errors, and analyzing usage statistics
• Serving ads, including personalized ads with your consent
• Responding to inquiries

Tapping a deal's outbound button opens the partner store (e.g., Coupang, Naver). No personal data is transferred; the destination site's own privacy policy applies there.

5. Retention

• Usage events: automatically deleted 30 days after collection.
• Notification history: automatically deleted after 30 days.
• Price history: automatically deleted after 30 days.
• Saved deals, alert settings, push tokens: deleted immediately when you unsave; remaining data is deleted promptly upon request.
• Inquiries: retained up to 3 years after resolution for dispute handling.

6. Your Rights

• Request access to or deletion of collected data via the contact email or the in-app inquiry form
• Withdraw notification consent in the app settings or device settings
• Withdraw personalized-ads consent in device Settings > Privacy > Tracking

7. Storage Technologies

As a mobile app, the Service does not use web cookies, but stores the following on your device: anonymous ID, category preferences, notification settings and history, and hidden-deal list (AsyncStorage); and the advertising identifier (IDFA/AAID), which you can reset or block in device settings.

8. Security

• Database access control (server-only credentials, no direct external access)
• Encryption in transit (HTTPS)
• Anonymous-by-design: no directly identifying data is collected

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we will announce the effective date and changes on this page.
